Hello, I’m Bryan Harris, and I’m excited to embark on this incredible journey as part of the VALOR Class VII program. I currently live in Suffolk, Virginia, where I own Liberty Lane Farm, a horse boarding facility. My wife, daughter, and I call this farm home, and every day, I’m reminded of the importance of preserving our rural heritage while building a sustainable future.
Growing up in a military family and later serving in the Air Force, I learned the value of discipline, resilience, and service. Transitioning from the military to our farm, gave me a new purpose — to support our agricultural community and inspire others, especially veterans, to find opportunity and fulfillment in this field.

My passion for agriculture is rooted in my belief that this industry is not just about feeding the world — it’s about connecting people, fostering innovation, and preserving the land for generations to come.
Through the VALOR program, I look forward to strengthening my leadership skills and expanding my understanding of agriculture across Virginia and beyond. I’m especially eager to engage with fellow cohort members, industry experts, and community leaders to exchange ideas and tackle the challenges facing modern agriculture.
For me, this journey isn’t just about personal growth — it’s about becoming a stronger voice for rural communities, equipping myself with the tools to champion agriculture, and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Here’s to the next two years of growth, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact in the world of agriculture!
