Alison Jones is a native of Pulaski County and is the daughter of Tim and Cathy Sutphin. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 and was an agriculture teacher at Pulaski County High School for 6.5 years. She is now serving as a state staff member for Virginia FFA and is also an Outreach Coordinator for Virginia Agriculture in the Classroom, a special program through Virginia Farm Bureau. She currently resides in Newport with her husband Alec.
